Do not use HPLC-grade (or other anhydrous) solvents unless absolutely necessary.
HPLC-grade solvents require additional resources to achieve a higher level of purification than regular grade solvents. It is important to be mindful of not only what solvent you choose to use, but also of the purity necessary for the equipment and experiments at hand.
