My Green Lab Partners with the Royal Society of Chemistry to Enhance Laboratory Sustainability8/20/2024
My Green Lab is excited to announce our partnership with the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), aimed at accelerating the adoption of sustainable lab practices among RSC members and reinforcing the importance of sustainability within the scientific community. Through this partnership, Royal Society of Chemistry members will receive reduced-rate access (a 10% discount on original price) to My Green Lab Certification.
My Green Lab Certification, recognized by the United Nations Race to Zero campaign as a key measure of progress towards a zero-carbon future, is designed to provide scientists and laboratory teams with practical strategies to reduce environmental impact, enhance efficiency, and demonstrate a commitment to sustainability. By integrating these practices, RSC members can lead the way in fostering a more sustainable future in the field of chemistry. Impact Laboratories, My Green Lab’s recently launched subsidiary, will provide third-party verification for the certification process. James Connelly, My Green Lab’s CEO, stated, "Our agreement with the Royal Society of Chemistry will equip members with tools to adopt sustainable practices in their laboratories, supporting a more sustainable future for scientific research." Christian Lautenschläger, Head of Corporate Development at the Royal Society of Chemistry, noted, "This agreement is part of our ongoing efforts to support sustainable practices in our community. We are pleased to collaborate with My Green Lab and Impact Laboratories." With this new partnership, Royal Society of Chemistry members will benefit from the expertise and resources of My Green Lab, furthering their commitment to sustainability. Comments are closed.
