My Green Lab Summit 2025: Rising to the Challenge
September 17–18, 2025 (8–11 AM PDT / 11 AM–2 PM EDT / 4–7 PM UK)
My Green Lab is seeking submissions for its Global Summit in Sep 2025. Please scroll further below to complete the form and nominate yourself or someone you know to be a speaker at our virtual summit.
The My Green Lab Global Summit 2025 will unite the global scientific community to confront the most urgent sustainability challenges of our time. This year's theme, Rising to the Challenge, addresses both the urgency and the opportunity facing science, from adapting to a shifting regulatory and funding landscape to strengthening trust through transparency and third party verification.
During the summit, we will spotlight the newly enhanced My Green Lab Certification and ACT Ecolabel programs, sharing early successes and real-world impact from organizations leading the way. You'll also hear progress updates from our three-year strategic plan and learn how our tools are uniquely positioned to help organizations navigate evolving global regulations around lab sustainability, especially those targeting greenwashing.

- Technical Sessions (30-minute virtual presentations) – Speakers will present pioneering technologies and innovative practices that help reduce the environmental impact of lab operations. We’re particularly interested in strategies that address today’s most pressing sustainability challenges, such as regulatory shifts, funding limitations, or evolving ESG expectations. Presenters should highlight a real-world problem, the solution implemented, and the tangible results achieved. Solutions may include lab efficiency improvements, smart resource management, waste and emissions reduction, or novel applications of green lab tools like the My Green Lab Certification or ACT Ecolabel.
- Panel Discussion (60-minute virtual panel) – This discussion will explore how the scientific community is rising to today’s global challenges through collaboration, transparency, and innovation. Panelists will share insights on navigating the rapidly changing regulatory and funding landscape, strengthening trust through third-party verification, and integrating sustainability into organizational strategy. We welcome nominations of individuals with experience driving culture change, influencing policy, or leading cross-functional sustainability efforts in labs.
- Tech Innovations Showcase (3 minute speed sessions) – This showcase will spotlight innovative lab products and technologies designed with sustainability in mind. Speakers representing manufacturers or product developers will share how they are integrating sustainability into design and production, leveraging tools like the ACT Ecolabel to provide transparent, third-party verified data. Presentations should focus on the broader impact of these solutions and how they are helping organizations align with global sustainability goals and avoid greenwashing.
- Interactive Roundtable Sessions (90 minutes, including breakout rooms for individual topics, followed by a group discussion) – Join us for dynamic and interactive roundtable discussions exploring practical solutions to shared sustainability challenges. Topics may include engaging internal stakeholders, demonstrating ROI, navigating global regulations, and implementing My Green Lab programs at scale. If you would like to host or nominate someone to co-host a breakout room, please describe your (or the nominee’s) role in implementing or supporting a lab sustainability initiative, such as green lab coordinator, facilities or safety manager, procurement lead, or program champion, and share the outcomes or lessons learned from your experience.
